It is a Factory 26 manufactured rifle with a serial number in the 23 million area. When I bought it just today, there was no bayonet but a bayonet lug was present. The seller did not know if it once had a bayonet or not. Several other Norinco SKS rifles had bayonets but considering the price difference I figured I could just buy another for $12..
